    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will assist the company in making profitable business decisions by gathering information and preparing accurate estimates. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record as an HVAC Project Manager. AIA Experience a PLUS!

    Responsibilities

    Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations

    Develop detailed estimates for equipment replacements, retrofits, system upgrades, and specialized HVAC and process cooling projects

    Experience with AIA documents, understanding the specific clauses, terms, and conditions that impact cost estimation

    Work collaboratively with sales, service, and engineering teams to ensure projects are executed according to specifications and within budget

    Conduct site surveys to gather critical project information

    Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards

    Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications

    Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs

    Gather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible prices

    Assist in developing bid packages for prospective clients

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field

    Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial HVAC and process cooling estimating experience

    Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) is preferred

    Previous experience as an Estimator is preferred

    Ability to forecast building costs and knowledge of estimation formulas

    Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with meticulous attention to detail

    Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office

    Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

    Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
