We’re seeking a results-driven and personable Residential HVAC Sales Manager to join our growing team and help build something big—leading both sales performance and team development in the HVAC division.
Position Summary:
The Residential HVAC Sales Manager will play a dual role: selling HVAC systems through in-home consultations and leading, managing, and scaling a high-performing residential HVAC sales team. This is a hands-on "player-coach" position, ideal for someone who thrives in both sales execution and team leadership.
You’ll receivequalified, company-generated leads, with the opportunity to earn even larger commissions from self-generated business through referrals, networking, and local outreach. Just as important, you’ll play a key role in recruiting, mentoring, and developing sales reps as we grow our footprint in the Tampa market.
Your ability to close sales, coach others, and foster a strong team culture will be central to your success in this leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-home consultations to evaluate HVAC needs and provide tailored solutions.
Present proposals, system options, pricing, and financing plans in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
Close sales and consistently meet or exceed monthly performance targets.
Build relationships with customers to encourage referrals and repeat business.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver cohesive and comprehensive energy solutions.
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, opportunities, and follow-ups.
Stay informed about new products, rebate programs, and industry trends.
Work as a player coach, selling your own HVAC customers while also helping to grow a HVAC sales team.
Represent Current Home with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Residential HVAC sales and in-home sales.
Proven ability to hire, coach and motivate a sales team to their full potential
Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and solutions (training available) while being able to communicate the information to potential customers in a way it makes sense.
Proven ability to close deals and manage a sales pipeline independently.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with financing options, rebate programs, and energy efficiency incentives.
Proficient with CRM software and digital presentation tools.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
