Job Description Work with technicians who install, maintain, and repair systems involving heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning. Oversee the technicians' work and directs them to jobs that require attention. Schedule appointments with clients. Maintain the work schedules for field technicians and assure that all customer commitments are met. Work with technicians to provide property managers and customers with estimates. Work with technicians to locate required repair parts. Schedule return trips with customers when parts are in. Verify all work has been completed and payment has been made. Follow up on all pending and recommended work with customers. Happy calls/customer surveys. Respond to all messages left overnight. Occasional after-hours, holiday, and weekend emergency dispatching. Sales, phone and in office.
Skills Ability to read work orders. Ability to use basic computer software. Must be able to make judgment calls regarding the best plan of action for a particular job and oversee its implementation from beginning to end. Advanced customer service skills. Ability to multitask. Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills. Knowledge of the HVAC industry.
