HVAC Service Sales Rep
Commercial HVAC | Building Automation | Energy Services
Compensation: $65,000 – $70,000 Base (OTE 90 - 150K), + Uncapped Commission + Car Allowance
Are you a competitive, self-driven sales professional who thrives on building new business from the ground up? This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing commercial HVAC, building automation, and energy services company where you will own full-cycle new business development across the Southern Colorado market. Rather than inheriting accounts or relying on inbound leads, you will be responsible for creating your own pipeline and developing relationships with executive-level decision makers across commercial and industrial facilities.Early success requires strong outbound activity and consistent cold calling, with focus gradually shifting toward deal execution as pipeline develops.
What You Will Do:Sell HVAC maintenance and service contracts to end users - the facility owners and C-Suite responsible for energy in mission critical systems and high-end commercial buildings
Own the full sales cycle from first contact to close, including cold outreach, prospecting, and building relationships with facility owners, executives, and decision makers.
Consultatively sell by understanding complex customer needs, identifying opportunities, and presenting tailored value-based solutions.
Control your own income by activity, persistence, and closing long-term service agreements that directly impact critical building operations.
What we are looking for:
3+ years of experience in B2B outside sales with a proven track record in new business development (hunter mentality required)
Strong comfort with cold calling and self-generated pipeline building
Experience selling services or solutions in a consultative, longer-cycle sales environment preferred (a plus if it is within HVAC
Ability to engage and communicate effectively with executive-level decision makers (CEOs, Directors, Owners, Facility Managers)
Highly motivated, disciplined, and resilient with the ability to thrive in a performance-based environment
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build trust quickly and handle objections professionally
A true self-starter who is driven by accountability, activity, and uncapped earning potential
Must be comfortable working in an in-office and field-based role
