ATIX Staffing is looking to hire an HVAC Technician to fill a Tem to Hire position for a company located in South Charlotte, the ideal candidate operates factory equipment, works on an assembly line, puts together, and inspects products, and adheres to all factory safety guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities:

Safely charge refrigeration systems with the appropriate type and amount of refrigerant.

Conduct diagnostic tests on refrigeration systems using pressure and temperature gauges.

Identify malfunctions or inefficiencies within the system.

Interpret gauge readings and analyze system performance data to ensure optimal operation.

Use tools and techniques to detect refrigeration leaks and perform necessary repairs.

Install refrigeration systems, including electrical components, piping, and insulation

Learn to perform every aspect of production and assembly.

Maintains and updates the results related to various tests and inspection procedures.

Flexible to help out in other areas as needed, including packaging units for shipment.

Performs accurate and quality work to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications:

Fluent in English and Spanish is required.

Strong knowledge of refrigeration system components (compressors, condensers, evaporators).

Skilled in refrigeration charging and handling.

Previous experience in a factory or warehouse setting is preferred.

Proven work experience as an Electronic Assembly Technician or in a similar role is required.

Good eye-hand coordination to construct small parts and pieces into a final product.

The ability to use various hand tools to produce a final product.

Basic knowledge of electrical design and control circuits from proven work experience is preferred.

Basic knowledge of electronics & electro-mechanical assemblies from proven work experience is preferred.

Ability to learn new technology, procedures, and specifications.

The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (overtime as requested), this is a Temp to Hire position the pay rate is based on experience $21 - $23 per hour
