Butterfly Staffing is currently identifying experienced Commercial HVAC Technicians for potential opportunities with commercial and government facilities clients in the Hampton Roads region. Candidates with strong experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems are encouraged to apply.

Butterfly Staffing is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to support mechanical systems across commercial and government facilities. This role includes installation, service, and diagnostics of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both new builds and active buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and service HVAC systems (RTUs, split systems, mini-splits, etc.)

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues

• Perform preventive maintenance and system checks

• Ensure work is performed to code and meets safety requirements

• Work with team members to coordinate schedules and inspections

Requirements:

• 3+ years of HVAC experience (commercial, institutional, or federal preferred)

• EPA Universal Certification required

• Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams

• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills

• Valid driver’s license; travel to job sites required
