Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic skilled and experienced HVAC & Appliance Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service! In this role, you will install, service, or repair heating and air conditioning systems in residential or commercial establishments, repair appliances and installation of new equipments such as Washer and Dryer, Refrigerator, Oven and other household appliances.

You have past experience in an HVAC service technician role and hold an EPA certification. A team player who is comfortable working independently, you love the feeling of a job well done and take pride in completing customer jobs with efficiency. A positive attitude is a must!

Duties

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ammonia refrigeration equipment with precision and efficiency.
• Read schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents to accurately install or troubleshoot complex systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
• Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems, including pipe fittings and drainage issues.
• Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs requiring metal fabrication.
• Operate a driver vehicle safely for on-site service calls or equipment transport.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs performed for accountability and future reference.
• Collaborate with team members on field service projects to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to uphold building safety and operational standards.
• Support installation projects involving HVAC design specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Diagnose and repair all types of household appliances.

Responsibilities:

Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants

Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction

Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution

Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment

Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring

Qualifications:

Bilingual - English / Spanish

5+ Years of past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education

Valid Drivers License; ; experience operating company vehicles.

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and refrigeration systems.

Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing practices, and electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters.

Ability to read technical manuals and interpret blueprints accurately.

Experience with R-454 refrigerant.

Knowledge of refrigeration systems and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) certifications is highly desirable.

EPA Certification

Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems

Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds

Experience working in field service environments across property maintenance or appliance repair is advantageous.

Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure.

Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment, welding work, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
