  • Responsibilities

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5+ years of HVAC experience in commercial or industrial environments
    • EPA HVAC/R certification required
    • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems with urgency and accuracy
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and the ability to read and interpret commercial wiring schematics and technical drawings
    • Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
    • Experience performing preventive maintenance, system inspections, and repairs on HVAC/R systems
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations
    • Basic computer skills for work orders, system tracking, and communication
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with Facilities, Operations, and Leadership teams
    • High level of accountability, reliability, and professionalism in daily work execution
    • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certification from an accredited HVAC technical program
    • Experience with VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems
    • Experience working with chillers, cooling towers, and large-scale HVAC systems
    • Experience in hydronics systems, boilers, and transport pumps
    • Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS), environmental control systems, or climate control platforms
    • Experience working in controlled environments such as indoor agriculture, manufacturing, or similar regulated facilities
    • Knowledge of energy efficiency practices, system optimization, and preventative maintenance strategies

    Additional Expectations:

    • Ability to respond to urgent maintenance issues and support operational uptime
    • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and system performance
    • Support continuous improvement of HVAC systems to enhance efficiency and reliability
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support facility operations
    • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed
