Job Summary: We are looking for an HVAC Service Technician to join our family! SIGNA HVAC SYSTEMS is located in Whitestone NY since 2013. We are an installation (including plan and spec projects), maintenance and service company. We serve all 5 boroughs with a main client base in Manhattan. We work on conventional systems, VRF's water- and air-cooled systems, cooling towers, heating systems and more.

Responsibilities: Knowledge of electrical, mechanics inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair skills Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems Perform routine preventative maintenance Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Fill out job tickets via phone or Tablet Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalism Strong customer communication skills
Knowledge and Skills: Previous experience in HVAC. Minimum of 3 years of commercial, residential equipment Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams Ability to handle physical workload Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Flexible/Positive Attitude Independent worker Take charge individual - likes challenges High energy, reliable, strong desire to serve customers and assist co-workers Organized and efficient, loyal, honest, trustworthy, personal pride, well groomed Commitment to quality. Always checks/tests work before leaving job. Must have valid driver's license with a good driving record. Good communication and written skills EPA Certification OSHA Certification G60, FDNY Fitness Certificate Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
