HVAC VRF Technician - HVAC Field Service Samsung VRF - Base Salary to 115k/year - New York, NY

• Our client, a well-established HVAC Manufacturers Representative & leading HVAC Service Provider for the commercial and industrial NYC/NJ markets is seeking a highly skilled VRF Field Service Technician to join their team!
• The HVAC VRF Technician role will involve installation, startup, and servicing of Samsung Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) HVAC systems. Extensive experience with commercial HVAC equipment and a deep understanding of VRF technology is critical to success in this position. Our client is open to tri-state candidates able to commute to NYC; dispatched from home; typical hours 7am-3pm, company vehicle and gas card provided.

Responsibilities:

• Start up, troubleshoot, commission, and service Samsung VRF systems
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on VRF equipment
• Use Samsung service software (S-Net Pro2) for commissioning and maintenance
• Collaborate with field trade teams and third-party contractors
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of technician experience with VRF Systems for commercial HVAC: Samsung, Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Gree, Daikin, LG, Heat pump, mini split
• VRF Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in diverse conditions, including mechanical equipment rooms

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 85k - 115k/year range
