    Job Description

    HVG Systems has been providing IT services to our clients for 19 years and we are continuing to grow with offices in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and in Phoenix, AZ supporting clients with locations in multiple states and overseas.

    Our team collaborate and leverage expertise in technology, integration, cyber safety, and infrastructure to allow our clients to focus on their business. If you are selected to be part of our growing team providing IT support services to our clients you will grow in knowledge and abilities to progress within the IT community.

    Services include regular and as-needed client site visits along with a robust phone/online remote support process.

    We are looking for candidates that can hit the ground running with the following well rounded qualities:

    REQUIRED WORKING KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

    • Installing and troubleshooting Windows based PCs and related hardware and software
    • Knowledge and experience with Windows Desktop (Windows 7 to Windows 11), Microsoft Office 2016-2019, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and basic networking knowledge
    • Microsoft 365 users setup and support
    • Windows Server level one support (Knowledge in Active Directory usage, Exchange users management, NTFS permissions)
    • Working with desktop imaging and multiple installation profiles checklists
    • Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot Wi-Fi technologies (WAPs & connected devices)
    • Basic wiring and network cabling support
    • Able to address and remove viruses and malware
    • Able to install and resolve printers and MFPs (local/network/remote) issues
    • Experience with setting and supporting secure VPN/MFA and Remote Desktop connection (client and terminal server environment
    • Knowledge and experience working with networks using DNS/DHCP/TCPIP

    MUST HAVE:

    • Willing to travel to clients offices as needed
    • Have a personality that allows our customers to feel comfortable with you, and with our company.
    • Ability to present yourself and our company professionally at all times.
    • Professional communication and writing skills.
    • 3-5 YEARS OF IT EXPERIENCE
    • The ability to understand issues, and find the right solutions for our clients.
    • Able to work with the team and independently requiring minimum supervision when doing desktop tasks.
    • Able to develop user documentation for clients use.
    • Technical knowledge on basic networking (wireless, etc.).
    • Work closely with HVG agents to ensure seamless fast and uptime solutions.
    • Able to know when to call for additional support from senior HVG staff.
    • Valid MN driver license & proof of insurance & a reliable car
    • CLEAN background check and driving record
