    Job Description

    CPA firm located in East San Fernando Valley is looking for a file clerk to handle the following duties:

    Processing and packaging documents going to clients – digitally and paper

                    Bank reconciliations

                    General ledgers

                    1099’s

                    Business tax renewals

                    Escheat reports

                    Returning client paperwork/files

    Answering phones

    Digital and paper filing and scanning of client papers

                    Includes heavy volume between February 1 and April 15

    Processing and packaging mail for USPS and UPS pick-up

    Requirements:

                    High school diploma or equivalent

                    1-2 years experience

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel

    Ability to self-direct and coordinate daily responsibilities for timely delivery of documents to clients

    Salary: ranges between $17.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on experience

    Some overtime required between February 1 and April 15
