Our team creates maps that depict areas impacted by severe weather to help our clients accurately and efficiently locate the most severely impacted properties. We're looking for a meteorologist to join our growing team of severe weather experts. Responsibilities: This role includes: • Analyzing ongoing and historical severe thunderstorms, including mapping severe hail, winds, and tornadoes. • Creating address-specific forensic severe weather history reports. • Helping create graphics and data for weather events and daily forecasts. Qualifications: This job might be for you if you: • Have a keen interest in severe weather events • Have a bachelor's or higher degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science • Have experience using radar interrogation software like GRAnalyst or Radarscope • Have familiarity with dual-pol radar products • Have a flexible schedule that may include working nights and weekends as the weather dictates • Are well-organized and detail-oriented • Enjoy learning new things and performing severe weather research • Can work well in a collaborative group setting • Are proficient with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) Compensation: $38,000 - $48,000 yearly
