Hair Dimension Salons is looking for experienced Hairstylists to add to our amazing creative team.

If you have at least 2 years hair cutting and color experience and are up-to-date with the latest trends, we’d like to meet you.

About us:

Hair Dimension Salons is a family owned business with over 55 years serving the Westchester community. With 2 centrally located salons, we are growing our creative team to accommodate the large amount of walk in clients.

We offer weekly education with training that will take you from where you are to where you want to be. Our Welcome desk will provide for all of your clients needs and our assistants will shadow you throughout the day to assist you. We are currently the only Arrojo Ambassador Salon in Westchester County and have been voted the Best Salon in Yonkers for more than 13 years by the Yonkers Chamber of Commerce.

Responsibilities include cutting hair using basic and advanced techniques, consulting customers about styles and colors and applying hair care products, like treatment oils and masks. Ultimately, you will ensure all customers leave our salon satisfied and feel happy with their new looks.

Requirements and skills

Minimum 2 years work experience as a Hair Stylist and Colorist or similar role

Proficiency in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curlers

Hands-on experience with various coloring techniques

Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths

Familiarity with hair treatment products and services, like keratin smoothing

Up-to-date with industry trends

Excellent communication skills

Physical stamina to stand for long hours

Flexibility to work in shifts

Valid license from a cosmetology school
