A hair salon assistant, also known as a hair stylist assistant, helps a lead stylist with their daily tasks. Their responsibilities includes:

Customer service: Providing excellent customer service and developing rapport with clients

Hair care tasks: Performing routine hair care tasks like shampooing, coloring, and drying

Cleaning: Sweeping floors and general cleaning

Supplies: Gathering supplies, mixing colors, and stocking towels and products

Station preparation: Preparing hair stylist stations

Laundry: Doing laundry

Retail inventory: Stocking retail inventory

MA Cosmetology license is a must.
