The Hair Saloon, a premium men's hair cutting establishment, is looking for a Store Manager. This position is responsible for excellent customer service, creating and updating client profiles, scheduling appointments, telephone courtesy, monetary controls and product knowledge. This position will also be expected to recruit and train new team members. The successful candidate will be professional, have a passion for helping their team, possess excellent customer service skills, and ready to be busy. POS and cash/credit processing experience is a plus. In conjunction with the Store Manager responsibilities, this role will also require the manager to work the front desk as a Saloon Coordinator. The Store Manager will work closely with the owners, meeting periodically to review store performance. The Store Manager will need to be available by phone when not working in the store to handle issues or answer questions.

The ideal person for this role would be someone who has been a manager or assistant manager in a customer service business. This person should have experience working with others and being a leader, who can coach and train others. It’s important that this person is also comfortable handling difficult situations and making quick decisions.

Responsibilities

Follow, understand, and communicate Hair Saloon's standard operating procedures

Recruit, hire, develop, and retain top-performing talent

Prepare and perform staff member performance evaluations fairly with the assistance of your local franchise owner

You are comfortable using basic computer programs

Assist clients in choosing the perfect service, style, and product for their individual needs

Build lasting relationships with guests and staff members

Qualifications

Minimum 18 years of age

High school graduate or equivalent

Experience in customer service, computer, and cash controls

Some management experience is preferred, but not required

Compensation

Earnings potential $50,000 - $75,000+ a year (This will vary depending on if you are licensed with state cosmetology and /or barber board).

All associated locations are independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
