About the Role:

Calea Beauty is looking for a talented, licensed Hair Stylist to join our growing salon in Fresno, CA. This is a W-2 hourly + commission position—not a chair rental. We provide all professional products and supplies, so you can focus on what you do best: delivering beautiful results and an amazing client experience.

We’re seeking someone who’s confident in their skills, passionate about hair, and excited to grow within a supportive, professional salon environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform hair services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments

Conduct thorough consultations to understand client needs and recommend services

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workstation in compliance with California State Board regulations

Build and retain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service

Stay current on trends, techniques, and industry best practices

Collaborate with the Calea Beauty team to create a positive, welcoming salon culture

Qualifications:

Active California Cosmetology License (required)

3+ years of professional salon experience

Strong technical skills in cutting, coloring, and styling

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Availability to work mornings, evenings, and/or weekends

Compensation & Benefits:

$20/hour + commission

W-2 employee position (not chair rental)

All professional products and supplies provided
