Sharkey's Nanuet is currently looking for a talented and passionate Hair Stylist or Barber to join our fun, and growing team in Nanuet, NY! This is a fantastic opportunity to do what you love in a welcoming environment where creativity and client connection are at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services to a diverse clientele

Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with clients

Perform kids' and adult haircuts with precision and care

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation at all times

Upsell retail hair care products and additional services to clients

Stay current with trending styles, techniques, and barbering best practices

Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive salon experience for every guest

Requirements:

Valid New York State Cosmetology or Barber license required

Prior experience as a hair stylist, barber, or in a salon/barbershop setting preferred

Strong cutting, styling, and finishing skills across a variety of hair types

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends

Passion for the craft and commitment to ongoing trends, education and growth
