Job description:

Our salon team is growing, and we are looking for highly-skilled Licensed Stylists & Colorists to join our team.

INTERLOCKS is located in the heart of historic Newburyport, MA, and is nationally recognized for over 20 years by Salon Today Magazine for its first-rate beauty, wellness and medspa services provided by 40+ team members comprised of award-winning licensed stylists, aestheticians, and makeup artists, as well as a medical team of nurses and laser technicians, supported by superb customer service and administrative teams.

Qualifications:

Must hold Massachusetts Cosmetology License

Takes pride in delivering top notch service experience

Has ability to develop professional client relationships

Is dependable, accountable, and punctual

Enjoys being part of a motivated and non-competitive team

Previous experience with INTERLOCKS color line and retail is beneficial: Goldwell, Oribe, R+Co, R+Co BLEU

Previous experience with hair extensions is beneficial

Responsibilities:

Execute highly skilled cutting, coloring and styling services

Recommend and sell retail to support service excellence

Maintain caring and professional relationships with clients and co-workers

Adhere to scheduled hours and sanitization protocols

Attend ongoing advanced education and product knowledge trainings

Make recommendations for cross departmental services, retail, and seasonal promotions
