About the Role:

Summit Hair & Spa LLC is looking for a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our team in Summit, NJ! This is your chance to bring your creativity and expertise to a welcoming salon environment where clients leave feeling their absolute best.

Responsibilities:

Provide a full range of hair services including cuts, color, highlights, and styling

Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend personalized treatments

Perform blowouts, updos, and specialty styling for everyday and special occasions

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation at all times

Build and retain a loyal client base through exceptional service and follow-up

Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge

Collaborate with salon team members to ensure a positive guest experience

Requirements:

Valid New Jersey Cosmetology License required

Experience in cutting, coloring, and styling for diverse hair types

Strong knowledge of professional hair care products and tools

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends

Self-motivated with a passion for the beauty industry and continuous learning

Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
