Office Coordinator / Assistant Bookkeeper
Job Description
Hairfield Vault Company is seeking a full-time office coordinator/assistant bookkeeper for our Morganton, NC office. The successful candidate for this position will have experience in all aspects of office operations and bookkeeping principles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Receive customer orders through either phone or fax
· Document customer orders and distribute to appropriate personnel
· Daily bookkeeping maintenance and data entry using Sage 100
· Assist in monthly closings and generating up-to-date accounting reports
· Track customer order fulfillment and inventory movement between locations
· Serve as a back-up for payroll processing
· Track office inventory and order as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience in Sage 100 accounting system
· 2 or more years of experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries
· Excellent communication skills and flexibility to work with office, delivery and plant operations personnel
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
· Must be willing to work one weekend per month and perform light housekeeping duties
