About the Role:

KIRBY SALONS LLC in Halfmoon, NY is looking for a talented and passionate Hairstylist/Barber to join our growing team! If you love transforming clients' looks and building lasting relationships in a fun, creative environment, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

Provide a full range of hair services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments for all hair types

Perform barbering services such as men's cuts, fades, tapers, and beard trims

Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend appropriate services

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation in compliance with state regulations

Build and retain a loyal client base through exceptional customer service

Stay current on the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge

Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance the client experience

Requirements:

Valid New York State Cosmetology or Barbering license required

Experience in hairstyling, barbering, or a combination of both preferred

Proficiency in cuts, color, fades, and styling techniques

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first attitude

Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Self-motivated with the ability to build and grow a personal clientele

Professional, reliable, and passionate about the craft
