Advanced Education & Training

We offer a structured Advanced Aveda Training Program after licensure to ensure you feel confident with every guest and service in your chair. Maintain 70–85% booked and 65–80% guest retention

Utilize social media to market yourself and engage guests

Educate guests on Aveda products (25–40% purchasing goal)

Teamwork & Salon Standards

Support salon upkeep and shared responsibilities

Compensation (full time):

Training Period (3–6 months, ~35 hrs/week): avg. $437/week

Year 1–2: ~$57,000/year (incl. tips)

Year 3–5: ~$68,000/year

Year 6–8: ~$75,000/year

Year 9+: ~$96,000/year

Requirements

Current or expected Michigan cosmetology license

Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and squat

Ability to lift/carry up to 10 lbs

Strong communication and listening skills

Hours

Part-time: 24–32 hours per week (with potential to grow into full-time)
