We deliver secure, high-quality language solutions in 80+ spoken and signed languages for USCIS and other federal agencies.

    We are seeking Haitian Creole Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Haitian Creole is a core USCIS demand language, critical for asylum and immigration cases.

    Responsibilities

    Provide real-time Haitian Creole ↔ English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.

    Interpret in immigration, legal, and administrative contexts with accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism.

    Maintain strict confidentiality in line with USCIS/DHS compliance standards.

    Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge requests.

    Participate in required training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.

    Qualifications

    Native or near-native proficiency in Haitian Creole and English.

    2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, healthcare, or government preferred).

    Familiarity with interpreter ethics and confidentiality standards (NCIHC, ATA, RID).

    Excellent verbal communication and cultural competency.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 federal clearance.
