Hal Griffith and Associates is an administrative company for several businesses in Washington and California. Our offices are located on the Seattle Waterfront. We perform the administrative duties for businesses such as the Crab Pot Restaurants and Seattle Great Wheel.
As a key part of the Accounting Department this positions main responsibility will be to enter and process payroll, process invoices for payment, and perform bank reconciliations, as well as perform various office tasks that arise. You will have opportunities to learn and take on responsibilities in multiple facets of a business. This is an entry level position that will provide an atmosphere to learn and grow your business knowledge. This position will work directly with the Controller and Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate for this role is a highly motivated, detail oriented, and proactive individual who is intuitive and comfortable working with others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll, enter and verify employee hours

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations

• Respond to employment verification requests

• Respond to occasional government report requests

• Enter and process invoices

• Minimum requirements: 2 - 4 years of relevant job experience

• Minimum requirements: 2 or 4-year degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

• Advanced skill set in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advance skills using databases and spreadsheets

• Excellent communication, initiative and interpersonal skills

• Team player with ability to work independently, organize, prioritize and meet tight deadlines
