    You will provide direct support for processing the day-to-day vendor invoices, employee travel expenses and payment obligations. This position reports directly to the AP Supervisor.

     

    You will be responsible for processing various types of accounts payable transactions including critical vendor invoices and maintaining the vendor master file.  Also, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly account reconciliations and journal entries, reviewing and documenting control logs, preparing 1099 forms, and processing electronic files for positive pay to the company’s bank. You will interact with internal and external customers in responding to inquiries or report requests.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Perform full-cycle accounts payable processes – including invoice matching with purchase orders, coding, batching, data entry and processing payments
    • Demonstrate experience with general ledger account reconciliations including month end closing processes and knowledge of accounting principles
    • Ensure invoices are recorded in accordance with company policy and generally accepted accounting principles
    • Perform routine daily and monthly responsibilities
    • Resolve purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies
    • Communicate effectively with vendors and other employees to resolve payment processing issues
    • Monitor invoice progress from receipt thru approval and payment
    • Audit and process employee expense reports ensuring they are in accordance with company policy
    • Provide audit and tax team support
    • Ensure company personnel are appropriately trained in the payment approval and submission process
    • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned

     

    WHAT YOU HAVE:

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or business management
    • 2 years of relevant experience
    • Proficient in Excel
    • Epicor and Concur experience a plus
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Extremely high attention to detail
    • Excellent organization skills
    • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
    • Ability to work with high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment
    • Team orientated person who can focus on the details
    • Forward looking thinker and self-starter who can articulate the need for and implement process improvements

    1. Current state registration/licensure or limited permit as an Occupational Therapist.
    2. Demonstrates professional behavior and appearance.
    3. Attends and participates in continuing educational programs and in-services as requested, which may require overnight travel.
    4. Ability to work on and comprehend computerized technology.
    5. Protects patients/residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
    6. Must be able to speak the English language in a comprehendible format.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    1. Subject to lifting, carrying and supporting patients/residents.
    2. Must be able to lift medical equipment, supplies, etc.
    3. Must be able to move (walk, bend, stand, sit, push, pull, lift) intermittently throughout the workday.
    4. Must be constantly alert for patient/resident safety.
