    The Shenandoah University Division of Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a faculty position based at the Winchester campus and teaching responsibilities at the Leesburg campus This is a career-contract track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, and is a full-time, 12-month faculty position reporting directly to the Occupational Therapy Program Director.

    The primary responsibilities of this position include: teaching and student advising in the didactic and clinical phases of the program.

    In addition, he/she will be expected to participate in interprofessional education opportunities; produce scholarship; and provide service including active participation on program, school and university committees. Opportunities are provided for professional service to the PA profession and clinical practice.

     

    Required Skills

    Qualifications for this position include graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program, minimum of an earned Master’s Degree (doctoral degree preferred), a minimum of three years current clinical experience, current NBCOT certification and eligibility for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Experience in OT education and/or clinical precepting is desirable.
