THE POSITION:

Hale O Meleana Residential and Memory Care Communityisseeking a genuinely caring, energetic, and strong customer-oriented ACTIVITIES MANAGERwho is responsible for coordinating all internal and external resident activities. Directors who strive to provide quality and service excellence in a brand new, fast paced, team environment are encouraged to apply. This includes creating the monthly activity calendar, arranging outside entertainment, assessing resident preferences and guiding programs to meet their needs.

Hale O Meleana is a newly built 175-bedResidential and Memory Care Community. Our vision is to be the desired destination for our Kupuna to age in place; providing the highest level of care throughout the island. The Kupuna that need and want our services and staff that strive to provide clinical and service excellence.

TO APPLY, YOU MUST:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year minimum experience in similar assisted living community role
• Supervisory, managerial, problem solving and organization skills.
• A Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or activities professional or is a qualified Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or has two years' experience in social or recreational program in last five years, one of which was full-time in a resident activities program or has completed an Activity Director training course approved by the state.
• Be CPR and First-Aid certified at date of hire
• Pass criminal background check, TB, and drug screen.
• Current Driver's License preferred.
