    As the ECOMMERCE ACCOUNT MANAGER at Safco, you will be responsible for generating immediate and future sales growth strategies within key eCommerce accounts. You will have the opportunity to develop and execute sales, marketing and product plans to meet or exceed targeted plan metrics aligned with Safco’s strategic initiatives and vision.

    This full-time position reports directly to the ECOMMERCE AND CUSTOM RETAIL SALES MANAGER and will be located at either Safco’s headquarters in New Hope, Minnesota or a remote office.

    Required Skills

    IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

    • OWN STRATEGY TO DRIVE SALES GROWTH AND PROFITABILITY WITHIN ACCOUNTS:
      • Develop, implement and execute short and long term strategy for account growth within the eCommerce business strategy and translate into actions designed to maximize sales.
      • Own and implement advertising and promotion strategies with accounts to grow sales and hit ROI target
    • TRANSLATE DEEP KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE CUSTOMER(S) NEEDS AND EXPECTATIONS, AND TRANSLATE TO INTERNAL PRIORITIES TO DRIVE THE BUSINESS:
      • Negotiate program terms, pricing and contracts to support Safco’s operation, legal, and profit objectives
      • Leverage strong relationships with account stakeholders to developing deep understanding of sales levers to drive account growth strategy. Translate into a clear course of action for the organization.
      • Build deep understanding of the operational process and expectations. Translate to cross-functional goals to support customer experience and deliver on account’s expectations.
    • STRONG ANALYTICAL CAPABILITY TO DEFINE SALES OPPORTUNITIES, REVENUE RISKS TO DELIVER STRATEGIC INVESTMENTS AND PROGRAMS
      • Create and manage dashboards to see sales trends and shifts, and identify opportunities and/or risks on a regular basis.
      • Manage and execute AMS and AMG strategies
      • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to support the Sales and Operating Planning Procedure
    • DEFINE PRIORITIES ACROSS THE ORGANIZATION TO SUPPORT ACCOUNT STRATEGY AND GROWTH OBJECTIVES
      • Ownership of setting account priorities across internal departments (product, sales, marketing, operations, etc.)
      • Partner closely with eCommerce Project Manager to identify operational opportunities and priorities, help set KPIs and goals

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • 5+ years of strategic ecommerce sales experience, specifically working with bigger Ecommerce accounts such as Amazon and/or Wayfair
    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
    • Proficient knowledge of PPC advertising, including AMS (Amazon Marketing Services)
    • Deep knowledge of using web analytics and sales data to conduct analysis, draw conclusions, and drive solutions and action using multiple data sources
    • Strong influence to lead and prioritize initiatives that involve cross functional teams in order to meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong negotiations and conflict resolution skills
    • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, etc.)
