    Lord Fairfax Community College Office of Workforce Solutions specializes in programs that develop and enhance workplace skills for individuals and organizations.  We offer top quality courses on hundreds of subjects taught by expert trainers at our Middletown, Warrenton and Lurray campuses/center.  We also customize courses to meet organizations' needs--be it a half day workshop or a multi-week professional development, certification, or apprenticeship program.

    LFCC Workforce Solutions is accepting applications for HEAVY EQUIPMENT INSTRUCTORS (EVENING AND WEEKEND) positions on a continuous basis.  Workforce teaching positions are appointed on a course-by-course basis as needed. Responsibilities include teaching workforce courses, which may include hybrid, online, distance learning and on campus courses during the day, evening and weekends.

    It is our goal to hire a HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR WITH SOME INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE.  We prefer individuals who have experience teaching adult learners.  Our reputation is based on the quality of instruction we provide to our clients and the ability to not only know the information, but to deliver it effectively.  Instructors should be prepared to deliver content using a variety of methods to meet the needs of learners.  Lecture should be complimented with other methods of instruction.

     

     

     

    Required Skills

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Non-credit courses require some experience in your technical field.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
