    Information Technologies Intern (Beverly, MA)

     

    Intern will be tasked with configuring and deploying desktop and laptop systems, installing desktop computing software and first level phone support in a 24 X 7 worldwide environment. Student will be exposed to various Windows and Virtualization technologies in a supporting role. Below job description is consistent with duties with an understanding of the limited experience possessed by a student. 

    1.Function as part of the Solution Center team.2.Assure all software is in compliance with copyright laws and conforms to corporate policies.3.Support PC’s in the categories of software, hardware, and peripheral devices.4.Provide training and instruction to customers in the proper use of software, hardware, and peripheral devices.5.Analyze problems with hardware, software, and customer operating environment to identify problem areas and recommend corrective action on 90% of the calls.

     

    Skills & Experience: Windows OS, Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)

    Equipment Knowledge: Dell desktop and laptop, HP printer

    Previous Experience: Any desktop hardware experience in a corporate setting, or desktop application software skills a plus
