    +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | MAJOR FUNCTION:  The Director of Business and Industry is housed within | | the Workforce Development Division and reports directly to the Vice | | President.  The Director is primarily responsible for providing | | direction and leadership for establishing and maintaining   business and | | workforce development services in the College’s tri-county service area. | | Duties will include, but are not limited to: | | | |   | | | | - Assist with development and implementation of marketing/outreach | | strategies to targeted populations (e.g., individuals and industry) | | and provide direct services to the business community. Financial aid | | appeal procedure | | - Manage/review assigned programs/projects (e.g., achieving goals, | | such as revenue) and staff (e.g., task assignments and evaluating | | the work of others). Oversight of the following Divisional | | Departments: Construction/Trades/Green Technologies, Corporate | | Solutions, Manufacturing, On-Line CWE, Professional Development and | | implementation of various special projects such as NSF, USDOL – and | | DOC Re-Entry Project.  Supervise up to five (5) Program | | Coordinators; Instructors/Administrative Support Staff; and numerous | | OPS and Adjunct Instructors.   Refer students to the Enrollment | | Services Office to complete their academic file. | | - Generate grant proposals, financial, contractual | | arrangements/agreements between the college and clients (i.e., | | contract training for employees). | | - Develop new programming (i.e. CTC, CWE) and analyze, review, and | | develop recommendations for consideration by | | Division Vice-President. | | - Serve on various college ad-hoc and standing committees and | | represent the college in meetings, both on and off campus. | | | |   | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

       

    MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:  Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and at least four years of successful experience in developing and administering workforce programs while working in coordination with business and industry...  Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate a proven success record of program development, implementation and positive results.

      

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  Knowledge of state and federal legislative processes and of agencies dealing with higher education. Knowledge of state, regional and national funding sources. Knowledge of TCC policies and procedures. Knowledge of the grants process.  Skilled in technical writing. Skilled in research. Demonstrated proficiency in securing grants funding. Demonstrated experience with block and competitive federal/state grants. Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Ability to align workforce programming with the  vision, mission and strategic plan of the College and emerging opportunities. Ability to work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse student populations. Ability to use computer software programs in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and desktop publishing. Ability to prepare budgets and draft clear, concise and persuasive narratives, professional correspondence and other documents. Ability to travel. Ability to make presentations to groups of people. Ability to draft and oversee proposal submissions. Ability to organize and start-up grants. Ability in the management and administration of college grants and funding development initiatives. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others to include public officials, agency personnel, volunteers, private business owners, employees and students. Ability to organize data into logical formats for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials. Ability to coordinate and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Ability to develop critical path timelines, initiate and complete assignments.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • Hands on Experience with the Informatica PowerCenter v10x Software Installation and Configuration
    • Knowledge and/or Experience with administration of Informatica Enterprise Data Quality,
    • Experience with administration of Informatica DQ and PC modules.
    • Experience with administration of MDM tool
    • Those without Informatica experience but with experience in Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible or Terraform will also be considered.
    • PowerShell scripting is highly desirable
    • Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills are required
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills for Desktops and Laptops
    • Ability to work independently with minimal direction providing technical and non-technical support to multiple users
    • Capable of working under pressure, while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Experience providing services to the federal government is preferred
    • Travel may be required
    • Ability to work overtime and weekends required on occasion
    • Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time
    • Remote and on-call responsibilities may be required
