Part-Time Spanish Tutor

JOB DESCRIPTION

Georgia Military College- Milledgeville Campus is seeking qualified candidates to act as part-time professional tutors in college Spanish. Candidates must have demonstrated competency in the subject area in which they will tutor.

*CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREEN MUST BE CLEARED BEFORE ANY CANDIDATE MAY BEGIN WORKING.

Required Skills

REQUIRED SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree. Please upload unofficial transcripts.  Transcripts can be directly uploaded when/after you submit your application
2. Commit to two full quarters of tutoring.
3. Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Be organized and punctual.
5. Must be able to maintain an electronic timesheet.
6. Completed sophomore-level college coursework in the subject area.
7. Meet with students on a one-to-one, small-group, or classroom tutoring format(s) to give learning assistance.
8. Check GMC e-mail daily to receive work notifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience tutoring college students and/or adult learners
