We are searching for a Principal Investigator to lead and manage a large portfolio of Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) activities for the US Air Force.  The ideal candidate will be a confident self-starter that can leverage their subject matter expertise and deep experience to manage the technical direction, project scheduling, and financial health of one or more large IDIQ, or similar contracts.

This position will have a heavy focus on project management, overseeing a team of other project managers (PM) and technical leads.  The candidate is expected to be the primary focal point of government customer interaction and ensure that the government’s vision is realized across a broad contract structure.  Candidates will also be expected to work with their deputy PMs in managing subcontractors’ funding and work share.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Math, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical field
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher

Required Experience

• Ten or more years in the field of Operations Research, and experience leading teams in analytical studies
• Five or more years of experience in Project Management
• Experience leading large IDIQ contracts (greater than $20M)
• Experience coordinating a diverse team of subcontractors

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• M&S experience related to sensors, radars, electronic warfare, fusion, C2, air defense, communication devices, cyber, satellites, or related area
• Experience with one or more of the following frameworks: AFSIM, ITASE, Suppressor, DIADS, ESAMS, IMOM, STK, or similar M&S tools
• Active security clearance with SCI eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Math, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical field
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
