    Job Summary: As a Halfway House Attendant at our esteemed private golf course, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests. The Halfway House Attendant plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience of our patrons by offering refreshments and light meals at the halfway point of the golf course. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and have proficiency in preparing drinks and simple food items.

    Responsibilities:

    Customer Service: Greet golfers and guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Provide excellent customer service by attending to their needs promptly and courteously.

    Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, and specialty drinks as requested. Prepare light snacks and meals such as sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and snacks, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.

    Maintaining Inventory: Monitor inventory levels of beverages, snacks, and supplies in the halfway house. Place orders for restocking as needed to ensure sufficient inventory levels.

    POS System: Keep track of items taken by members (food and drinks) and charge accordingly.

    Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure cleanliness and organization of the halfway house area, including the kitchen, dining area, and outdoor seating. Clean and sanitize surfaces, equipment, and utensils regularly.

    Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations. Maintain compliance with alcohol service laws and regulations, including checking identification and refusing service to intoxicated individuals.

    Communication: Communicate effectively with other staff members, including golf course personnel and management, to coordinate services and ensure a seamless experience for patrons.

    Qualifications:

    Must be 21 years of age or older.

    Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or food and beverage service preferred.

    Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

    Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating orders.

    Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

    Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

    Must possess or obtain relevant certifications for alcohol service as required by local regulations.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the halfway house area.

    Lift and carry trays of food and beverages weighing up to 25 pounds.

    Ability to work outdoors/indoors in various weather conditions.
