    THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN OUR HALL TEAM AS A MEDICAL BILLER DOING COLLECTIONS! WE HAVE MULTIPLE OPEN POSITIONS AND ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO HAVE EXPERIENCE SPECIALIZING IN MEDICAL COLLECTIONS.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • A minimum two years of experience in the medical billing field; 4+ years preferred.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

    Support Hall Ambulance's coding or collections process for emergency medical services. Keep accurate and thorough records, interact with providers and patients, and work collaboratively as a team.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Supports collections process and ensures documentation is accurate and thorough. Ensures proper follow-up on all accounts and follows company procedures.
    • Provides medical coding services as needed or requested.
    • Interacts with providers and patients by phone and in person. Provides professional, compassionate service in a timely and effective manner.
    • Works in a team environment, prioritizes and identifies solutions based on business requirements.
    • Utilizes computer systems and electronic equipment to document patient and provider interactions.
    • Consults and works collaboratively with business office team members toward achieving mutual goals.
    • Adheres to strict confidentiality, HIPAA, and need-to-know standards.

    TRAINING & EDUCATION:

    The individual in this position must possess the following education requirements:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

    • Prefer: technical education or certification in medical billing.
