    Our staff includes 40+ professional/registered land surveyors licensed to work in more than 20 states, 60+ field crews, more than 65 survey technicians, five ASPRS-certified photogrammetrists and one certified inshore hydrographer. Our crews are based in offices as far south as Florida and as far west as Texas, and travel throughout the United States and the Caribbean to respond to our clients’ land surveying needs.

    DESCRIPTION

    • Responsible for the technical production of survey project.
    • The major objectives are the quality (accuracy, thoroughness, clarity and meets regulatory requirements) of work, meeting schedules, within budgets and responsive service to client.
    • Organize technical production, direct field work, checking work (quality control) and communicating with project.
    • Coordinate the production to cover all details so that the quality is present and budgets and schedules are met.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • NC PLS required.
    • Good technical skills
    • Behavioral traits of process oriented, steady, helpful, analytical, problem solver, likes work alone when required, methodical, consistent, detail oriented, precise, hates mistakes and likes structure.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.

  • Qualifications
    • Strong working knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and firewalls
    • Experience and knowledge working with Azure and/or AWS to engineer new solutions and migrate legacy systems to the cloud[PM7] [SM8]
    • Experience with the Microsoft suite of products including Azure and Office 365 and Exchange Online
    • Familiar with changes necessary to maintain performance levels of applications when transitioning from on-premise environments to IaaS public clouds (Azure);
    • Experience working with cloud technologies and SaaS solutions
    • Candidate must be a quick learner with exceptional communications and customer service skills;
    • A proactive mind-set with a focus on constant improvement and follow through at all levels
    • Strong technical problem-solving skills;
    • Ability to take ownership of issues, work independently or escalate as needed, and find creative ways to resolve problems.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly, and concisely present complicated computer concepts to end-users with differing skill levels.

    OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES

    Knowledge of ITIL Service Management principles.

    Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills as necessary to communicate and coordinate with others on both routine and non-routine matters. Ability to resolve problems independently in accordance with defined policies and procedures. Ability to work successfully with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressures.

    Demonstrated ability to:

    • Make significant decisions and recommendations on complex issues to achieve long-term results and strategic objectives.
    • Assume ownership and manage large projects delivering results on-time and in budget.
    • Develop and document standard operating procedures for use by Information Technology including development of processes to ensure consistent execution of repeatable tasks.
    • Role model teamwork behaviors. Clearly communicates issues, actions and plans.
    • Understands and analyzes industry technology trends and their relevance to the WilmerHale environment.

    Experience working in high-pressure professional services organization or other similar organization requiring attention to detail and sensitivity to confidential and proprietary information.
