    This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Supervisor, Technical Operations in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Stearns Rogers Services (SRS) organization in the Installed Base Business Unit. SRS is a multi-disciplinary group that provides support for existing and new nuclear power facilities. Our group specializes in the design and maintenance of fuel handling equipment for both the BWR and PWR markets. Your work will include:

    • Supports the planning and execution of SRS operations at customer sites.
    • Provide staffing recommendations for outage support.
    • Provide site support (both from home office or at site) to monitor performance of field technicians, interface with customers, support special projects and support resolution of emergent issues.
    • Ensure readiness of personnel and equipment for field assignments.
    • Ensure on-site services comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards.
    • Provides goals, objectives and standards of performance for field teams.
    • Ensure adequacy of outage closeout reports to document health of plant equipment and make recommendations for improvement.
    • Use the corrective actions program to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
    • Counsel and evaluate performance of direct reports. May recommend wage adjustment or change of status.
    • Works interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships, coordinate deployement of field resources and develop new business.
    • Works on special projects, as directed.

    Your Total Rewards Package

    The range of base salary for the position is between $106,000 - $143,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.

    Requirements: PhD or DrPH in public health or related doctoral degree; Desire and/or experience in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. Rank will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
