Job Summary

We are seeking a Caregiver to join our team! Halo Specialized Home Care is a licensed, Non-Medical Home Care agency serving the Monterey Peninsula and surrounding areas. We specialize in providing the highest quality of care by the most respected and qualified caregivers in our industry.

This is an overnight position. You will be responsible for ensuring that you help the client when they wake up during the night to use the restroom or if they have other needs. You must be alert. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, experienced, and reliable.

The schedule for the following position is:

Mon/Tues/Wed

7p - 7a (overnight shift)

36 hours/week

Pays $22/hr

6 hours will be paid at $33/hr (for overtime)

Location: Monterey, CA

Responsibilities

Bathroom Assist

Assist with personal hygiene

Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercise

Medication Reminders

Provide companionship

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role

Experience with dementia

Experience with changing briefs

Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills

Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
