Job Summary:

We are seeking 2 (two) Caregivers to join our team! Halo Specialized Home Care is a licensed, Non-Medical Home Care agency serving the Monterey Peninsula and surrounding areas. We specialize in providing the highest quality of care by the most respected and qualified caregivers in our industry.

In this role, you will make a difference in the life of a 98 year old woman by enhancing her quality of life! Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, in-bed brief changes, transfers, ambulation, meal prep, light housekeeping and other tasks that improve her living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, experienced, and reliable.

2 (two) caregivers will split the following shifts:

Sunday: 3p - 10p Monday: 4p - 10p Tuesday: 4p - 10p Wednesday: 4p - 10p Thursday: 4p - 10p Friday: 4p - 10p Sat: 6p - 7a (overnight shift)

Location: Monterey, CA

Responsibilities

Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing

Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises

Prepare meals and snacks

Light housekeeping activities

Medication Reminders

Provide companionship

Bathroom Assist

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role

Experience with dementia

Experience with changing briefs in-bed

Experience with transfers

Experiences with ambulation

Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills

Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
