OUR CLIENT is seeking a talented DE Certified Underwriter passionate about supporting work in FHA, USDA, more first time home buyer type loans.. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply and interpret company underwriting guidelines and makes sound credit decision.

• Underwrite an average of 8 files per day

• Completes credit, analysis of income, analysis of property, ensures proper audits are completed and verify consistency of loan file information.

• Perform thorough analysis to ensure the quality of each loan and to determine compliance with Company and Investor guidelines.

• Ensure property meets investor guidelines and the appraisal quality and completeness is acceptable.

• Review and evaluate credit information on mortgage loan documents to determine acceptability for specific loan programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 - 10 + years of Underwriting experience, with several of the following below:

• FHA

• VA

• Loans

• Residential Mortgage

• Conventional home loan

• DE Certification

• LAPP/SAR

• CHUMS ID

• Technology usage of Encompass
