OUR CLIENT is seeking a Jumbo Underwriter who will be working with a leading lender who specializes in residential loan products. This is a full time opportunity with a full-service mortgage lender who has been in business for over 20 years! You’ll be working with a diverse team that offers transparency and stability. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply and interpret company underwriting guidelines and makes sound credit decision.

• Support the Underwriting of JUMBO & Non-QM Loans

• Completes credit, analysis of income, analysis of property, ensures proper audits are completed and verify consistency of loan file information.

• Perform thorough analysis to ensure the quality of each loan and to determine compliance with Company and Investor guidelines.

• Review and evaluate credit information on mortgage loan documents to determine acceptability for specific loan programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 -10 + years of Underwriting experience

• 2 years of recent experience supporting JUMBO and Non-QM loan types

• Able to work 100% Remote

• Experience with AIG, Chase, and TIAA (plus)

• Experience with Encompass (plus)
