We are actively partnered with a national Financial Services company to help them find and hire their next Affiliate Marketing Manager / Strategic Partnerships Manager to the team (title is flexible). The is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with tons of growth potential. The role will be based out of the company HQ in Woodland Hills, CA. In this role, you will be a catalyst for growth through partnerships. You will be charged with looking at innovative ways to create partnerships with various types of organizations, media platforms, and influencers to help drive new customers into the sales funnel.     Responsibilities:

    • finding, creating, fostering, and improving strategic partnerships with various media partners and outlets with the goal of acquiring new customers for our financial services firm
    • leverage existing network and proactively do business development to bring new and innovative business partnerships to the organization
    • seek out and explore media channels that can be leveraged to help market and brand the business. Some examples include: radio, tv, pandora, spotify, podcasts, youtube, influencers, and more
    • sign new partners and help onboard them in tandem with the marketing team (Marjorie)
    • be a value add and complimentary partner to the sales and operations staff
    • align and grow relationships with external stakeholders of partner organizations
    • travel and visit partner offices to strengthen relationships and look for opportunities of growth. Attend industry conference and networking events.
    • Document and maintain a CRM with your activity and contacts

     Requirements:

    • 3+ years in a strategic partnerships, business development, or affiliate manager type of role
    • Experience working directly with decision makers of partner companies to drive programs and growth
    • Versatile, nimble, and growth focused mindset with attention to detail
    • Have an open mind and look for unique and innovative areas that the company can partner with other organizations and media platforms to help acquire new customers at scale
    • Hunter mentality – you are a strategic thinker and aren’t afraid to try to start new relationships from scratch. You can plan and execute your business development plans.
    • Background in paid media – affiliate marketing, performance marketing, paid search, paid social, TV, radio, etc..
    • You understand what the acronyms CPA, CPL, CPM, and CPC stand for
    • Self-started, highly motivated
