Hamilton Porter is a boutique technical recruiting firm that partners with a variety of companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500's. Due to growth, one of our top clients in the Carlsbad San Diego ?area is actively looking to hire a full-time Senior to mid-level Software Engineer.

Here's a little bit about this client: Ever taken a personality or skills assessment test before? Were the results helpful and informative? Since the 70’s our client has been offering valuable tools and products, such as the favorite skills assessment/personality test to improve company culture, productivity, and employee happiness. Everyone knows the phrase "happy wife happy life" right? But where’s the phrase on the "happy worker – happy life"? How many hours do we spend at our jobs? Fostering positive work relationships are critical to ensuring a great company culture, but this also carries a direct correlation to enhanced productivity. So where do you come in? The Engineering team is expanding, as there are major new product launches happening which requires an additional talented Software Engineer, with a slight preference for the Front end to help build out our new Product offerings. So not only would you be able to support an interesting product offering, but you can bet you would be supporting work in a fantastic work culture. About the Role:

You’ll be working in a collaborative team setting alongside Engineering, Product, and Design to implement and deploy new product rollouts supporting a critical software based system. We follow an agile - full life cycle development process, and are always advocates of adopting modern principles so you can expect to ship code multiple times a day following the CI/CD process. We also practice TDD and have a highly collaborative coding environment where you will perform thoughtful code reviews, mentoring and sharing opinions with other engineers on a daily basis. Get ready to build out in an infrastructure as a code (AWS) environment.

What do we need from you:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar

- Not so big on years of experience but we do need individuals experienced in Javascript ideally Angular or React

- Strong understanding of design patterns and OOP
