Senior UX Designer / Product Designer - Full Time - Remote OK

Hamilton Porter is a talent acquisition consultancy that partners with software organizations to help them build their engineering and product development teams. We are actively partnered with a newly formed tech company that just closed an initial round of VC funding ($4M). This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity to be the FIRST UX / Product Design in the company! The current C-level team has had multiple exits with other technology companies and this is their newest venture. Their software platform is an end-to-end, cloud native, low code platform that democratizes computer vision, allowing customers to focus on their business needs, not the complexity. It's a horizontal solution that reaches across all industries, think of Twilio, but for Computer Vision. We are actively looking to hire a Senior User Experience Designer to join the team and help design the overall user experience, look, and feel for our cutting-edge platform that makes computer vision accessible to all developers.

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of user experience design work
• Professional UX background in enterprise software or SaaS
• Background in UX and product design, with experience designing for multiple platforms such as for responsible web and mobile
• Advanced knowledge of UI/UX best practices, keeping up with technology and design trends
• Ability to effectively collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, remotely and in person
• Experience designing enterprise software and agile development is a plus
• Experience planning and facilitating research sessions, including usability testing and/or user research
• Experience creating user flows, process maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user interface specifications
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Motivated and a self-starter, with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Passionate to learn new things with the desire to help shape a quickly evolving product
