JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hammons Products Company is hiring an Accounting/HR Clerk for our location in Stockton, MO. The Accounting/HR Clerk will be responsible for assisting the Treasurer with routine duties of accounting (accounts receivable, cash management, accounts payable, payroll) including some human resource functions.
JOB DUTIES:
- Prepare and reconcile weekly payroll
- Post payments to customer accounts or general ledger accounts
- Review cash accounts daily and prepare cash report including any necessary transfers
- Print Accounts Payable checks weekly
- Prepare state sales tax reports monthly
- Assist Treasurer with hiring process, new hire orientations, employee training sessions
- Provide customer service to Hammons employees
- Serve as a point of contact with vendors/administrators including benefits
- Assist with In-Shell Harvest Duties
- Maintain employee personnel files
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training:
- High school and college degree (2 years) or equivalent experience
- Seminars and specialty training may be required
Experience:
- Minimum two years’ experience as a Payroll Clerk in a computerized payroll system, or two years’ experience as a General Accounting Clerk
- HR experience a plus

- Strong computer knowledge and skills
- Expertise in spreadsheets

- Excellent communication and administrative skills
- Ability to meet all assigned deadlines
