    Job overview

    The Front Office Agent is responsible for providing consistent excellent service to guests/clients before arrival, upon arrival, and during their stay, from check-in to checkout. This associate will be responsible for registration, checkout, and cashiering.

    What you will be doing

    Greet each guest in a warm and genuinely friendly manner, and show a dedication to providing friendly, award-winning service

    Welcome guests and efficiently check them in, anticipate potential inconveniences for guests, and quickly resolve and follow up on any and all guest-related issues to ensure their complete satisfaction

    Ensure pre-arrival requests are met, place pre-arrival calls to determine guests' needs, and assign/upgrade rooms according to occupancy, preferences, and Elite Hilton Honors status

    Provide recommendations and directions for shopping, attractions, and entertainment, plus other concierge services as requested

    Answer phone calls promptly and create reservations, assist with billing inquiries, and relay messages in an efficient and courteous manner

    Transport guests using hotel shuttle as needed

    Communicate and work effectively with team members and assist in other departments as needed

    Attend and participate in weekly and monthly department/hotel staff meetings

    Perform other guest services duties as requested by the department supervisor

    Job Requirements

    High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, etc. when needed.

    One year of job related experience, preferably a front desk or customer service role in hospitality.

    Computer proficient with the ability to use several programs at once.

    Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment and provide outstanding guest service.

    Warm, personable, professional, and energetic demeanor.

    Ability to work and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

    Must be highly organized.

    Must be able to work the majority of the shift in a standing position, constantly moving, and able to lift 10 pounds.

    Must have work eligibility in the United States.High School Diploma or equivalent.Communicate and work effectively with team members and assist in other departments as needed
