    Job Description

    Hana Group North America is currently hiring a motivated and highly organized professional to join our rapidly expanding team. We are seeking an individual for the role of “Manufacturing Facility Manager” at our facility in Long Island City, New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing and directing production activities, coordinating daily production schedules, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining high product quality, overseeing equipment maintenance, and managing personnel to optimize productivity at the facility.     · Manage and lead a team of 50-60 personnel, ensuring seamless coordination in logistics, warehouse activities, and the overall operations of the facility's kitchen.

    · Creating a culture that promotes Food Safety and health standards as a top priority.

    · Execute food-safety practices, including meticulous maintenance of accurate logs.

    · Proficiently monitor and update facility processes and procedures.

    · Demonstrate expertise in applying company policies, handling corrective actions, disciplinary warnings, performance reviews, and employee terminations.

    · Responsible for developing, training, and coaching supervisors and staff, establishing and monitoring goals, and providing consistent performance feedback.

    · Oversee and coordinate vendor equipment repairs and maintenance within the facility.

    · Communicating among departments (e.g. Warehouse locations, Purchasing, and retail operations managers) of any issues or changes in the operation.

    · The facility manager will perform timely annual reviews and evaluations of staff in accordance with company guidelines or as needed.

    · Ensure the completion of necessary documentation, including new hire paperwork, FMLA, Worker’s Compensation, and OSHA, for submission to the respective departments.

    · Familiar with GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and FDA regulations; experience with SQF is an added advantage. Must acquire certification in ServSafe, Seafood HACCP, PCQI, and SQF within 90 days of hire.

    Qualifications

    · A minimum of 5 years of management/supervisory experience in roles related to manufacturing, kitchen management, or food production facilities.

    · Excellent communication skills—both oral and written; ability to lead and collaborate within a team.

    · Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

    · Efficient prioritization and delegation skills.

    · Ability to train others and provide constructive feedback to employees.

    · Effective time management and organizational skills; willingness to adapt to flexible scheduling for business needs.
