    Job Description

    Our fast-growing food retail company is currently seeking new team members! The Product Merchandiser is the face of our product, representing Hana Group sushi within retailers by ensuring on-time product availability. By engaging with both the customer as well as the client, you will create an unforgettable experience for our customer, leading to brand loyalty for our restaurant quality sushi.

    Responsibilities & Qualifications

    • Complete deliveries and pickups at designated locations and obtain signatures and proof of receipt as necessary
    • Maintain food safety logs and additional record keeping as required
    • Maintain a professional image while delivering and stocking inside the approved retailer
    • Pack and label products to ensure on-time delivery
    • Place merchandise in display case and engage with customers as necessary
    • Clean and disinfect van and equipment after use
    • Consult with management in a timely manner, meet objectives and goals as assigned, and report store level observations related to company product and customer needs

    • Must have a valid driver’s license and willing to have a Motor Vehicle Records check completed
    • Professional work ethic and effective communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Must have ability to work flexible schedule including weekends
    • Perform miscellaneous duties like transferring the supplies and equipment between storage and work areas and organizing supplies
    • Must be able to meet physical demands of the position including extended periods of standing and walking throughout the day; ability to lift, pull, push and carry up to 50 pounds

    Food Safety Requirements

    • Follow all cleaning and sanitizing guidelines set by the company Quality Assurance team
    • Strictly adhere to all food safety best practices and procedures to include personal hygiene aligned to food prep and safety
    • Act with appropriate caution in kitchen environment where there are knives and high-temperature surfaces as necessary

    Other

    • Must be able to communicate in English, both written and verbally
    • Ability to use navigation tools such as GPS, smart phone apps and/or physical map
