    POSITION PURPOSE:

    The Claims Coordinator I is responsible for coordinating and supporting initiatives relative to the evaluation, processing, and handling of insurance claims for the company. The successful candidate can analyze and consolidate data quickly to create an accurate written document. The position requires ability to maintain quality claim files in accordance with appropriate best practices, and other company procedures. He/She acts as a liaison between the organization, our insurance providers and agents, claimants, and policy holders regarding the status and eligibility for coverage for all relevant claims.

    WORK SCHEDULE:

    Part time hours with one (1) day off during week and one (1) day off on the weekend - with specific hours to be determined. Note: that business hours are 7am to 10pm

    Morning, Mid day, Evening shifts

    Expect irregular/increased shift hours during catastrophic weather events

    DUTIES:

    Act as a Liaison between claims and other insured entities while adhering to company protocol

    Responsible for keeping the integrity of production using company supported technology

    Analyze and consolidate data quickly to create accurate written reports

    Provide complete published report to the customer within specified deadlines

    Navigate and use multiple computer applications simultaneously to respond to internal and external customer inquiries

    Provide accurate and detailed information to inbound calls from customers to resolve issues/concerns

    PREFERENCES:

    Roof construction knowledge and background

    Some college education

    Experience in Xactimate

    Experience in Ring Central
